Distilo is a Dutch business. The English-language site is served on distilo.ca for an international audience, but the contracting entity, the applicable law and the data protection regime are the Dutch ones set out below.

2. Scope

These terms apply to the use of the Distilo website and all services offered by Distilo. By using the website you agree to these terms.

3. Services

Distilo offers the following services:

• Demo reports: sample analyses on synthetic data, free of charge
• Reports on request: in-depth analyses of churn, overdue payments, revenue, channels, losses and segmentation
• Ongoing monitoring: periodic follow-up of key business metrics

Data analysis engagements are agreed separately through a commercial proposal. These terms cover use of the website and initial contact (form, newsletter).

4. User obligations

The user undertakes to:

• Provide truthful and current information through the contact form
• Not use the website for illegal or unauthorised purposes
• Not attempt to access protected parts of the website without permission

5. Intellectual property

All content on the website, including texts, images, logos, icons and software, is owned by Distilo or its licensors and is protected by copyright.

Blog content may be shared with appropriate attribution to Distilo and a link to the original article.

6. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which supplements these terms.

Where Distilo processes customer data as a processor (within the meaning of Art. 4(8) GDPR), the conditions are set out in a separate Data Processing Agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) per engagement.

7. Liability

• Blog content is published for educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute financial, accounting or legal advice.
• Distilo does not warrant that the website is available uninterrupted or error-free.
• Distilo's liability for direct damages is limited to the amount paid by the customer in the last 12 months.
• Distilo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

8. Term and termination

These terms apply for an indefinite period. Distilo may amend these terms at any time by publishing the updated version on this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Distilo is established.
