How a clothing shop in Bristol uses Distilo
~900 producten · ~4.100 bestellingen/mnd · webshop + marktplaats · 5 jr

My best customer left without me seeing it coming.

One of my clothing shop’s biggest buyers suddenly stopped ordering, and I only noticed at month-end.

Big customers rarely leave with a bang. They just order less and less, until they are gone.

How I got my file

In your webshop: Orders → Export → CSV. (Or your marketplace’s orders export.) It is just a file with my sales:

customeremailorder dateamount
A. Cookacook@…02-02-2025€ 39,00
N. Wardnward@…20-09-2024€ 64,00
P. Evanspevans@…11-01-2025€ 120,00

That is all I sent. No integration, no technical setup.

What I did at Distilo

Then I went to Distilo. Three steps:

  1. 1 I bought the Amostra for €40.
  2. 2 I uploaded the file I had just exported.
  3. 3 I typed in one sentence what I wanted to know: “which top customers are cooling off?”
What I got back

A day later I got no raw numbers, but two things: a report that explains it in plain words, and the list itself.

A handful of your biggest customers are ordering noticeably slower than a year ago.

Not a loss yet, but a warning. A personal touch now stops them from quietly leaving.

I personally called the cooling top customers, just to ask how things were going.

Two big customers I would otherwise have lost started ordering again.

The Amostra costs €40 and gives you one PDF with three quick analyses on your real data (lapsing customers, your best customers, and what is often bought together). Subscribe within 30 days and the €40 becomes credit.

Try it for your own shop · €40

Send your sales list, we do the rest. Nothing technical.

Example based on a composite shop; persona and numbers are illustrative. The analysis itself is a real Distilo run on your own sales list.
