How a supplement shop in Glasgow uses Distilo
~260 producten · ~6.600 bestellingen/mnd · webshop + marktplaats · 5 jr · abonnementen

I treated everyone the same. Until I saw who carries my shop.

My supplement shop in Glasgow had thousands of customers, but I had no idea who the important ones were.

I gave everyone the same discount and attention, probably neglecting the very people who brought in the most.

How I got my file

In your webshop: Orders → Export → CSV. (Or your marketplace’s orders export.) It is just a file with my sales:

customeremailorder dateamount
N. Wardnward@…28-11-2024€ 32,00
P. Evanspevans@…05-04-2025€ 48,00
E. Dixonedixon@…17-07-2024€ 79,00

That is all I sent. No integration, no technical setup.

What I did at Distilo

Then I went to Distilo. Three steps:

  1. 1 I bought the Amostra for €40.
  2. 2 I uploaded the file I had just exported.
  3. 3 I typed in one sentence what I wanted to know: “which customers bring in the most money?”
What I got back

A day later I got no raw numbers, but two things: a report that explains it in plain words, and the list itself.

About 12% of your customers account for nearly 70% of your revenue.

This is the group to protect. Give them a reason to stay before a competitor does.

I gave my top customers a personal thank-you and early access to a new tub of protein.

Holding on to that revenue was easier than having to win it again.

The Amostra costs €40 and gives you one PDF with three quick analyses on your real data (lapsing customers, your best customers, and what is often bought together). Subscribe within 30 days and the €40 becomes credit.

Try it for your own shop · €40

Send your sales list, we do the rest. Nothing technical.

Example based on a composite shop; persona and numbers are illustrative. The analysis itself is a real Distilo run on your own sales list.
